terrace off
an ephemeral space that embraces the simplicity and beauty of natural elements. is an ode to absence, a pause from the hectic world and a deep connection with materiality.
inspired by the desire to explore being absent and, at the same time, present, the "terrace off" invites reflection on disconnection from everyday life and immersion in tranquility. the careful selection of materials was essential to realize the essence of the project. the use of natural stone gives a solid and rooted feel to the environment, evoking the durability and stability that nature offers. the eucalyptus, in turn, lends its rustic and cozy elegance, bringing to light the constant presence of wood in harmony with the environment.
in contrast to the gravel soil, a wooden deck arises. This element seems to float, as if dissolving the boundary between the natural and the built. Under the pergola interwoven with fabrics, a delicate dance of shadows and lights projects into space, creating a poetic atmosphere. the "terrace off" invites visitors to enjoy unique moments of introspection and connection with nature. this is a place where time seems to slow down, and the presence of each architectural element resonates with the most primordial instincts of the human being.
